It is Perfect to be Imperfect

In the first place, the world is never perfect. In fact it is full of imperfections.

Imagine a world without imperfections:

Every one has perfect beautiful faces, body and appearance.
Every one has perfect brilliant mind and intelligence.
Every place is perfectly organized, clean, tidy and natural.
Every kids score straight As in examination.
Every one is able to find true love as soon as he/she reaches 18.
Every company makes money.
etc.

What will happen if every thing is fully perfect?

There will be no challenge in life!
There will be no sadness hence happiness is no longer a great feeling.
There will be no great life’s experiences where one overcomes life’s obstacles.
There will be no more great love stories as every one is perfectly matched up by default.
Every one is born perfect and there is no comparison and no competition.
The world will be so dull!

Every one probably will be searching and looking for imperfection in life which does not exist at all.

I have everything by default.
I do not need to work hard, in fact do not need to work at all.
I do not know how it feels to be sad, to be jealous, to be painful …..
No one has ever scolded, offended or hated me.
I do not need to exercise and control diet yet I am fully fit and healthy by default.

What am I going to do? I want to look for a world with imperfections!!

Let’s cherish everything that we have in life, be it imperfect or near to perfect. It is much more interesting to work on them and gradually perfecting the imperfections.

  4. khengsiong,

Imperfect is perfect, and vice versa. It's our own perspective, all in our mind. Not sure what is the behind Christian's perfection though...

The photo was taken in Hong Kong late last year. The place along the river are residence for many rich and famous.

Life's Sayings

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life, it goes on. (Robert Frost)

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. (Winston Churchill)
