。。。。 Life is Good.

English Premier League

I love to watch football match.

Ever since I was a child, I love to watch football competition in my country, even though I live in a small country whose FIFA ranking probably exceeds 100.

My soccer heros then were Taukeh Soh Chin Ann, Mokhtar Dahari, Santok Singh, R. Arumugam etc.

Whenever we beat South Korea then, I felt so happy and proud.

I still roughly remembered a match when Malaysia thrashed South Korea in a 1982 Pre-Olympic Qualifying round when Hassan Sani set up a goal for James Wong to score. Watching from the home's probably black/white TV, the happiness of seeing my country winning is beyond description.

Time passes. I had completed my studies in Secondary and Tertiary level and came out to work, set up family and now had long been promoted to be a father of 2 kids. I no longer watch my country playing though as her FIFA ranking dropped further throughout the years and the standard of playing is far below my expectation as a veteran football fan.

Watching BPL's matches has long became one of my hobbies after work, especially during weekend.

The way these teams played on the field is amazing. Besides the players' skill, the formation and strategy etc. employed by the rich-and-famous coaches to outdo each other, there is also the emotional sides of the players. All these combined, I get the full enjoyment of watching & following the BPL.

The moment when John Terry missed the penalty and costed Chelsea the UEFA Champion, the moment when Fernando Torres beated MU's Vidic and went on to beat Van Der Sar when Liverpool was a goal down, the moment when Lionel Messi collected the ball in mid field and dribbled all the way to the goal mouth and scored, all these were the great moments that gave me the excitement and satisfaction in my simple life.

Watching football is a simple passion but yet it makes my life happy.

Life is Good

LG - Life is Good.

The first time I came across this slogan, I was immediately attracted to it.

It is so simple, yet the inspiration it provides is tremendous and incredible. It is so simple, yet the positive or optimistic feeling it generates is so immense and crystal clear.

I wish I could introduce and promote it to as many people as possible to make everyone's life happier, regardless of whether you are a student, a father, a businessman, a teacher, an engineer, a boss, a minister or a nobody.

Regardless of who we are, imagine there are so many things we could do and share each day, without boundary. There are so many places we could travel and see the diffrent cultures. There are so many new knowledge we could learn to make ourself a better person....... The list goes on.

Let's learn to be contented and happy. Life may be short, but it is good. Cheers.

Life's Sayings

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life, it goes on. (Robert Frost)

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. (Winston Churchill)
