(Bubbles)

My kid likes to play with bubbles. The bubbles always seem to be full of dreams and promises. Not only my little one enjoys playing with it, even myself, the old man gets to rekindle the fond childhood memory.

More and more people now realize that life is like bubbles floating in the universe. When the bubble bursts, its life ends. Everything becomes just an illusion. So is our life.

The most important and valuable thing in life is never material gains, for instance the most expensive bungalow has no value at all if not occupied by its loving and warm family.

In fact, everything changes constantly. What make the constantly changing world meaningful, are our love, faith and care towards our fellow human being and the nature.

(Rainy Day)

Since childhood, I always like rainy days.

I like to listen to the rhythmic sound of rains. I like the romantic mood that the rainy scene create. I like the cooling atmosphere. I like the freshness in the air after rain.

In short, I feel calm and relax whenever it rains.

(Back Pain)

A few days ago over dinner, my brother-in-law said that his elderly mother always feel unwell when she idles at home without much chore to do. This brought me back to the childhood story my mother used to tell me.

My grandma was in her seventies when my mom was about to give birth to me. With rheumatism, my grandma suffered from back pain from time to time. In the occasion when my mom was in the delivery room, my grandmother was still suffering in pain. However, when the news of my mother gave birth to a baby boy reached her, my grandmother got so happy that the hapiness made her back pain completely gone.

What I wanted to say is, activity and attitude can affect health, if we are able to keep cheerful mind and active body, life must be healthy.

I recently have frequent back pain, it must be due to reduced workload. . .

(Amazing Nature)

Nature is amazing.

The consistent exchanges of beautiful sunrise and sunset, the seasonal rotation of spring, summer, autumn and winter; the bountiful fauna and flora in the wild, the diverse and interesting life forms in the natural ecological habitat, the delicate relationship, the balance and order of everything in nature is something that always make me ponder over the greatness of the great nature.

In short, no human scientific knowledge can ever fully explain the nature; no human artistic talent can be more creative than the nature, no man-made machine can ever overcome the power of nature.

The only way is for us to live in harmony with nature.

(Photographing Weaver Ants)

Weaver ants are commonly found in our garden. They are always there for me to practice my macro photography whenever I am running out of subject to shoot.

However, the fact that the weaver ants seldom stay still make it difficult to shoot them at low ISO setting. I also found using a tripod very impractical when shooting the highly mobile ants.

As a result of this, I usually compromise on the ISO to get a fast enough shutter speed to freeze at least the movement of some ants. Alternatively when shooting a single ant, I may use the largest aperture possible to obtain a faster shutter speed but compromise on the depth of field.

To make the images less boring, I usually try out different angle of view and look for a group of ants interacting with each other that shows their society working together in an interesting way…

(Natural Living)

Every time I came across news articles about senior personnel beyond the age of seventy years old, but yet still healthy and strong enough for mountain climbing or long-distance running, I would really admire and hope that in my old age I too can lead a similar healthy natural living.

Mr. Steve Jobs of Apple has left, at the age of 56, leaving behind a brilliant performance and technology empire, making us pondering over the fragility of life .

Although no one knows his life expectancy, but what we can do from this moment is to be more health-conscious.

The human body is like a machine, in addition to frequent lubrication, regular maintenance, flushing and cleaning also is important for components that may get choked and seized up.

I believe by drinking plenty of pure water, eating lots of organic fruits and vegetables can lubricate and cleanse our stomach and blood vessels. Regular exercise on the other help will certainly does great help to upkeep our overall health.

Eat and drink naturally, live a natural life, spend more time with nature, hopefully in my old age I can expect to lead a physically healthy lifestyle.

(Small Things)

The organic farm operator allowed the kids to scoop for the fishes in the pond. The kids tried hard but it proved to be quite a challenge for them to get hold of the fast moving fishes.

Finally daddy and aunty turned hero and helped the kids to scoop out three fishes each. The fishes were later brought back home to rear. The children had great fun and joy in the farm.

My little boy discovered some lovely heart-shaped leaves growing on a tree trunk; he plucked down a string of the leaves happily. It was clearly visible on his facial expression that he was delighted.

These are small things indeed, but such is the pure simple pleasure of children’s life.

(Nature)

It was early in the morning. I was looking at the dewdrops on the blades of grasses and felt deeply captivated within the dreamy environment.

The dewdrops that resemble eyeballs were looking back at me, as if calling me to return to the nature.

Forget about all material things. Everything else is just an illusion, said the dewdrops. I was nodding my head in agreement. After all we all are just part of the never-ending journey, until the time ends finally.

Until timelessness arrives, let's take as many photographs as possible to build up the album as well as the sweet memories.

Life's Sayings

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life, it goes on. (Robert Frost)

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. (Winston Churchill)
