(Wet Day)

When I used a compact film camera sometimes ago, I always thought that rainy day is a lousy day for taking photographs. However, as I was exposed more to DSLR photography, I realized that wet weather too make for good photography subject.

I was doing some street photography on this weekend, when a sudden downpour came and provided me with the opportunity to take some candid shots of people’s reaction in a rainy day.

The street hawkers were busy wrapping up their stalls.

Teenage kids were undeterred by the rain, continuing their journey to their prearranged outing.

Couples, young and old, were seen sharing the umbrella and care for each other in a cold rainy scene that instead warm up people’s heart.

The lonely street photographer was left confined at the five-foot-way photographing the heavy downpour in front of the railing….

  5. I think we are still experiencing Southwest Monsoon, which is why Thailand is still flooded.
